The smart hood by GE is just like a regular range hood that removes smoke and helps ventilate the kitchen. However, this one includes a smart screen called The Kitchen Hub.

The Kitchen Hub gives you access to over 5,000 recipes that you can follow as you cook, with the option to add your own recipes as well, according to GE Appliances.

Not only can you manage other smart devices and appliances like lights and your coffee maker, you can also use Netflix, Spotify, and even video chat as you cook.

Between The Kitchen Hub’s incredible features and convenient location, it’s no wonder why Haack sees this as the next big design trend.
