Bathroom fixtures can become dirty quickly due to mineral deposits from hard water stains. Luckily, you can solve this problem with a common laundry item.
Borax is often used in laundry due to its water-softening abilities. These properties make it efficient for breaking down mineral deposits forming on bathroom fixtures.
To clean your bathroom with borax, sprinkle the powder over your sink or shower fixtures and scrub away the stains with a wet cleaning towel.
Combine ¼ cup of borax with one cup of vinegar to clean the stains from your toilet. Pour the mix into the bowl, wait a few minutes, and then scrub with a toilet brush.
You can also mix borax and vinegar to create a thick paste to clean grout and tile stains. Apply the paste for 15 minutes, then rub it into the stain and wipe it away.
