On HGTV's "My Lottery Dream Home," designer David Bromstad admitted that a simple way to make a kitchen space look luxurious is extending the cabinets all the way to the ceiling.
"When you go to the ceiling with your cabinets, it just feels expensive," the renowned interior designer said. Besides elevating the aesthetics, this upgrade also adds storage.
Continuous wall cabinets also eliminate the awkward gap between the top of the cabinets and the ceiling, which helps the design of your kitchen feel much more sleek.
Additionally, Cabinet Door Mart explained that the taller cabinets work particularly well in kitchens with high ceilings, as they help draw the eye up and open up the room.
