The Martha Stewart-Approved Houseplant You'll Want In Your Own Home
By RHIANNON FAITH IRELAND
Martha Stewart took to Instagram to showcase one of her favorite plants — Dendrochilum magnum orchids. She wrote, "I love these wild and curious beauties adorning my home."
The plant originates from the Philippines and boasts a strong smell, with each flower blooming for approximately two to four weeks. It can be grown indoors as well
as outdoors.
It thrives in shade and prefers diffused or indirect sunlight. For watering, it is crucial to keep the soil damp without over-saturating and to prevent it from drying
out entirely.
Dendrochilum magnum orchids tend to be on the pricier side due to their rarity and can grow quite large, which might be a concern for those with limited indoor space.
