In the season 12 episode of "My Lottery Dream Home" titled "Million Dollar Mom," David Bromstad revealed the design feature that makes ordinary homes feel more luxurious.

In the episode, Bromstad assures Angelina and Kristal that the second home they see is well worth the higher price tag of $240,000 due to its high ceilings.

"You could really do some fun things up here," Bromstad said while looking up at the ceilings. "Add some beams, add some architectural detail," he suggests.

High ceilings also allow for living areas to receive more natural light, which can also help brighten up the space and make it feel much larger, according to Hallmark Homes.
