The Product That Keeps Spiders From Sneaking In From Under Your Door
By RACHEL ANN MELEGRITO
Although most common house spiders pose no threat to humans, if you’re inclined to keep these eight-legged critters out, then it’s essential to know how they get in.
While it may not be easily detectable, there are likely small gaps between your door and door frame or the door and the floor that the spiders can use to sneak into your home.
Installing door sweeps, which is a type of weatherstripping you mount to the bottom of your door, helps form a tight seal between the bottom of your door and the surrounding floor.
Door sweeps are helpful because they target the largest gap present in most doors, placing a barricade against spiders, bugs, and even mice at the bottom of your door.
