The Property Brothers Explain How To Coordinate Your Bedroom And Bathroom
By RHIANNON FAITH IRELAND
In Drew and Linda Scott's home, the pair matched patterned light green wallpaper in their guest room with bold olive green subway tile they chose for the adjoining bathroom.
They used matching colors to create a cohesive look in the separate rooms. Still, the diversity of pattern and texture elevates the entire space when taken in as
a cohesive unit.
Drew suggests tiling as a cost-effective way for matching colors, with attractive options almost always available on sale.
Jonathan Scott added that he and his team seek out tile options with a unique "shape, pattern, and color" as "this is one of the easiest ways to make a bathroom pop."
Alternatively, you can choose facecloths, towels, hand towels, or even a bathroom rug in your desired color to keep the color scheme going without changing any major details.
Additionally, you can bring dimension to a room by pairing different shades of the same color. However, consider the size of a space before choosing its color.
