The Property Brothers Explain One Genius Painter's Tape Swap
By FRANCES DEAN
The Property Brothers, renowned for their home improvement expertise, introduced an innovative alternative to painter's tape during their appearance on the Today Show.
Drew and Jonathan Scott recommended using aluminum foil as a makeshift solution when one has run out of painter's tape during a painting project.
This swap is particularly useful for covering and protecting oddly shaped fixtures in the home — such as doorknobs, pendants, and lamps — that are tough to cover with regular tape.
The aluminum foil acts as an efficient shield, preventing paint smudges or drips. Also, its ease of application and removal make the foil a great alternative to painter's tape.
