Hydroseeding is the process of creating a slurry mixture of grass seed, mulch, fertilizer, and other additives with water and spraying it onto the desired area to start a new lawn.
The method offers several advantages and disadvantages. On the pro side, hydroseeding is particularly beneficial for sloped lawns, where traditional grass seed may wash away.
The slurry mixture used in hydroseeding can be customized to suit your particular soil type and climate. You can even add herbicides to the mix to control weed growth.
The process ensures quicker root development and encourages faster grass growth compared to planting grass seeds alone, thus establishing the lawn before it can erode.
It is more cost-effective than sod and allows you to choose the specific mix of grass varieties you want for your lawn, creating a healthier, more varied green space.
However, on the con side, hydroseeding takes longer than sod to establish a lawn ready for activities, and it is more expensive than planting grass seeds
the traditional way.

convenient option.
