If you're looking for ways to make your home feel more homey on the outside, HGTV's Erin Napier suggests reaching for a soft sage green exterior paint.
Soft sage green blends well with any surrounding nature and brings a light and fresh vibe that is a lot less boring than standard white.
Napier tells Homes & Gardens, "You may think green is not neutral, but I say it certainly is. Look out your window and tell me what naturally occurring color you see the most of!"
The designer frequently depends on sage green paint colors to make a home feel calming and serene, especially in homes for clients who need a little extra emotional support.
If this color is a little too green for your liking, Napier also often chooses white or gray with a springy green undertone, such as Benjamin Moore's Misty Air or Celery Salt.
