The Space-Saving DVD Storage Solution That'll Cut Down
On Clutter
By SAKSHI KHAITAN
Although DVD and CD cases are designed to protect the discs inside, they add to the clutter in your living room. Luckily, you can bid this problem goodbye with transparent sleeves.
TikTok user @lifewithdaniielle removed the discs and DVD covers from their boxes and put them inside plastic sleeves that she could stack in a cute woven basket and store away.
Maxtek's clear transparent plastic sleeves retail on Amazon for about $10 for 100. Once you have the sleeves, fold the DVD cover in half and insert it inside along with the disc.
When doing this, you should also eye each disc critically and decide if you want to keep or donate it. You could even sell some vintage ones to make some money back.
Instead of just dumping the sleeves in a bin, organize them alphabetically or categorically. You can also buy dividers such as Vaultz's A to Z file guides, which are $8 on Amazon.
