A sharp, clean edge on your home’s carefully tended lawn can be a satisfying look. It can also curtail weeds and prevent grass from overtaking the concrete or soil next to it.
TikToker @alexandersgardening edges his lawns manually with a pair of Bahco P75 long-handled edging shears that sell on Amazon for about $82.
Next, the TikToker uses a half-moon edging iron to sever any grassroots and define the border. Finally, he clears up leftover debris with a three-prong cultivator.
Manual lawn edging gives a more exact finish as you can better control the boundary line and depth. There are also no cords, batteries, gas tanks, or noise.
