Incorporating feng shui principles into your home can improve the flow of energy, or chi, and one unexpected way to do this is by placing plants above your
kitchen cabinets.
The gaps above kitchen cabinets, whether small or large, accumulate dust and harbor stagnant, trapped energy, which disrupts the harmonious flow that feng shui aims to achieve.
To counteract this, Anjie Cho of Inhabitat recommends adding something lively to these spaces. Real plants, especially low-light varieties, are ideal for these
smaller areas.
However, if maintaining live plants is challenging, faux plants can be used. Additionally, if you have electrical skills, you can install lights in these areas instead of plants.
