Painting can be a tedious task, especially when it comes to prepping areas to avoid unwanted paint splatters. Luckily, a hack involving Vaseline can help you save significant time.
To use this method, apply petroleum jelly with your fingers or a thin paintbrush to door knobs, hooks, hinges, cabinet pulls, and other hardware, then proceed to paint as usual.
Once the paint dries, simply wipe off the petroleum jelly and any spillage using a damp cloth. This approach eliminates the hassle of removing hardware and makes cleanup easy.
