Cork Hack That Makes Sowing Seeds A Breeze
By SASKIA AINSWORTH
If you want to avoid spending endless hours digging holes to plant your seeds, consider a simple yet effective technique involving wine corks that offers a
quicker alternative.
To use this hack, grab some wine corks, preferably one for each prong of your garden rake. Next, take one cork at a time and carefully push it on the tip of a prong.
You can cut a small slit at the end of the cork to make it easier to slip it on the prong. Then, place the rake on the ground where you want to sow your seeds and apply some force.
This creates “mini craters” or sowing spaces without the physical exertion commonly associated with hand-digging. Now, you can proceed to plant your seeds as you normally would.
