The Worst Paint Colors For A Baby's Nursery
By DARBY WAGLER
When deciding what color to paint your baby's nursery, there are countless choices that could work. There are, however, two colors you should avoid since they can have negative connotations and can make it tougher for both you and your baby to relax.
The first color most people avoid painting their nursery is red, which is a stimulating color that’s more energetic than soothing. This bold and bright statement of a tone may cause your baby to have trouble falling asleep while making you feel more on edge when you want to relax.
Gray paint is a tone with sad and lonely connotations, as it's usually connected to overcast skies. Painting the nursery's walls a dark gray could shut in the space and make it feel dismal, but adding colorful accessories can make the hue feel lighter and more playful.
