While these low-maintenance plants don’t need fertilizer, they do enjoy the added potassium and nitrogen from coffee grounds during their blooming periods.
Spread a few grounds on the soil around the base of this slow-growing plant once a month during the spring and summer to provide it with the proper nutrition.
Soak 2 cups of used coffee grounds in a 5 gallon bucket of water overnight to create a compost tea. Use it to water your money tree as usual for a nutritional boost.
This nutritious flower doesn’t require a lot of fertilizer to bloom, but you can encourage foliage growth by sprinkling coffee grounds on the soil to make it acidic.
