This Is The Difference Between A Kitchen And A Kitchenette
By PASAN PERERA
While we all know what a kitchen is, what exactly is a kitchenette? They are usually smaller and incorporated in open floor plans, but sometimes, less space isn’t necessarily a bad thing depending on your habits, general way of living, and hobbies.
The average kitchen measures around 8 by 10 feet, and offers a variety of appliances such as ovens, microwaves, and refrigerators. Kitchenettes don’t usually have the space for all these appliances, but if cooking isn’t a regular hobby of yours, you might not want to waste your money on them.
Kitchenettes are fairly easy to maintain as they are often less than 80 square feet, and they are connected to another space such as your living or dining room. With kitchenettes, you don't have as much storage as with a kitchen, but if you’re someone who would rather have more room for activities or hobbies, this could be the best option for you.
