TikTok user @houseof_db demonstrated how to adapt IKEA pre-made storage units to your needs by transforming a basic IKEA Pax wardrobe into a stylish compound storage solution.
@houseof_db simply screwed a piece of MDF to one side of a 93-inch IKEA Pax/Bergsbo to act as a base to attach an IKEA Lack shelf, thereby increasing the existing storage space.
This unit can be customized for use as extra kitchen pantry shelves, a living room display unit, a home office bookshelf, or shelves to hold baskets of toiletries in your bathroom.
You can pick up an IKEA Pax/Bergsbo for $360 and an IKEA Lack shelf for $119. Budget extra if you want to further customize your storage unit with paint, paneling, or lighting.
