TikTok Is Loving This Chic Rattan Lighting Hack

An easy way to transform a space is by installing new lighting. While it may seem like an expensive upgrade, TikTok user @lonefoxhome has an affordable lighting hack you can use.
The hack involves using rattan panels in place of the diffuser to upgrade old-school fluorescent lights, and the results are absolutely stunning.
First, remove the plastic panels housing the fluorescent lights. Then replace them with pieces of woven rattan of the same size and shape by gluing them to the grid in the ceiling.
@lonefoxhome also changed the harsh fluorescent bulbs to daylight bulbs. This idea could work for a bohemian vibe, a classic French countryside aesthetic, or a minimalist look.
