Transform The Bottoms Of Cabinets With This Subtle Wallpaper Trick
By LINDSAY DONALDSON
The undersides of kitchen cabinets are not on everyone's must-decorate list, but a little paint and some wallpaper can turn those underused spaces into eye-pleasing surprises.
Whether you’re using sheets of peel-and-stick wallpaper or more traditional ones that require glue, start by scrubbing the cabinet undersides to help your paint or paper stick.
Follow up by painting the edges extending past the cabinets' undersides. Once the paint dries, measure all your cabinets’ bottoms and cut the paper sheets to match each underside.
Depending on the type of wallpaper, peel off the backing from it or apply glue. Lastly, stick the paper, smoothing it on from one end to the other and pressing out any air bubbles.
