A wire shelf hanging over your washer and dryer may help keep your products within close reach of your machines, but it isn't quite aesthetic. Luckily, a Dollar Tree hack can help.
To upgrade your laundry room wire shelf, gather QC Con-Tact Knotty Pine Self-Adhesive Shelf Liners from Dollar Tree, a large piece of cardboard, a glue gun, and a cardboard cutter.
Measure the shelf, cut the cardboard to size, and stick the contact paper onto the cardboard. The cover must fit over the shelf with one side folded over to hide the shelf’s front.
Once you place the cover onto the shelf, you’ll have what looks like a wooden shelf for a fraction of the price you’d pay to have the wire shelf replaced with a better-looking one.
