A junk drawer can actually make life a little easier, as it keeps all those small, random items of occasional use in one quick-to-access spot.
Whether you're dealing with a small junk drawer or a wide one, we recommend squeezing as many egg cartons in it as possible.
It may be best to remove the lids so everything is easy to access. Cut the carton in half or use different sizes to utilize every bit of space in your junk drawer.
Allocate one cubby for your spare keys, another for loose batteries, and so on. The goal here is to give each item its designated home so nothing slides around or gets mixed up.
