Turn A Pool Noodle Into The Perfect Fall Wreath For Your Porch
By Lindsay Donaldson
Using a pool noodle as a base, you can create a candy corn-themed wreath, a fun fall DIY project that comes from YouTuber Lindsay Griffitts-Phan from Craft with Me.
You'll also need a spool of wire-edged Halloween ribbon, a holiday sign, duct tape, a glue gun, craft wire, and at least three skeins of acrylic yarn in fall colors.
Connect the ends of the pool noodle with duct tape, wrap it with ribbon, and glue the ends. Glue the individual glitter candy corn pieces onto the wreath alternating tip to tail.
To make the pom poms, wrap yarn 60 times around a 4-inch wide piece of cardboard. Slide the bundle off the cardboard and tie a piece of yarn around the center.
Attach the sign to the center of the wreath with heavy craft wire and find a spot where you'll attach the sign's hanger. Once you find a spot, move the ribbon aside from it.
Bend the wire and poke it through about a ¼-inch section of the noodle. Twist the wire through the sign's hanging loops, and your wreath is ready to hang.
