Turn An Old Garden Hose Into A Simple DIY Trellis
By KALEIGH BRILLON
Rather than discarding your worn-out garden hose, repurpose it into a durable trellis that will provide sturdy support and protection for your plants.
First, choose a frame for the trellis. It can be anything that’ll hold up to the weather, like an old broken trellis, an old door or window frame, or leftover wood from a project.
Next, cut the hose so it reaches from one end of the frame to the other. Tie the hose to the frame by threading a wire or twine through it, tying it to each side of the stake.
Based on your plants, you can customize the trellis. Tall plants need fewer rungs to hold them upright while vining plants benefit from several rungs.
