Turn Dollar Tree Wood Blocks Into A Trendy DIY Candle Holder
By ALEXANDRA RODRIGUEZ
You can have a soothing candle in every room without paying a fortune. Customize creative candle holders from simple Dollar Tree wood blocks and a little imagination.
For this easy DIY project, you only need two craft wood cubes from Dollar Tree, a drill gun, painter's tape, gold and white spray paint from Walmart, and some long candles.
If you want different-sized candle holders, you'll also need a 4 x 4-inch wood block from Lowe's and a saw. The block is 8 feet long, but you can get Lowe's to cut what you need.
Start by drilling a 1½-inch deep hole on top of each wood block, wide enough to hold your candles. Decorate the holders with paint, twine, or greenery, or carve designs into them.

Once your candle holders are dry, place your candles in them and secure them with glue or wax. Use your candle holders in your living room, kitchen, or on your dining room table.
