Turn These Dollar Tree Items Into An Epic DIY Candy Bowl
By ALEXANDRA RODRIGUEZ
Most Halloween candy bowls are generic, so if you want something with a bit more flair, try making HGTV’s creepy-cute DIY candy bowl on the cheap.
Everything you need for this DIY comes from Dollar Tree: a plastic full-size skeleton, a bowl, silver acrylic paint, a sponge paintbrush, wooden pegs, a hot glue gun,
and scissors.
Start by painting your skeleton, wooden pegs, and bowl and allowing them to completely dry. Then, use your hot glue gun to attach the wooden pegs to the bottom of the bowl.
Next, cut the skeleton's legs off and glue them diagonally to the bowl's bottom so that the top of the legs meet and make a pointy tip. This will make the feet look spread out.
Then, glue the skeleton's body with its pelvic ribs located above the edge of the bowl, and either glue the arms to the edges or leave them hanging. Finally, fill it with candy.
