Turns Out Grandma's Curio Is Perfect For Extra Bathroom Storage

While an old curio cabinet isn't a stylish piece of décor, you don't have to discard it. Instead, use it to boost your bathroom space with a vintage look and additional storage.
As shown by TikTok user @joyfullytreasured, you can protect the glass in your cabinet with painter's tape and strip off the finish by rubbing it with sandpaper.
Opt for medium-grit paper between 80 and 120. For easier handling of the sandpaper, fold around a block of wood, then brush any dust off so you can start painting.
Apply two coats for full coverage, then rub the sandpaper around the corners again to create a distressed look. Seal with either chalk paint wax or varnish.
