Use These Kitchen
Staples To Erase Scratches On Your
Wood Floors
By MACY SEARS
Removing scratches from hardwood floors can be a nightmare. Luckily, you can restore their looks with the help of two kitchen staples: canola oil and white vinegar.
The canola oil acts as a conditioner that nourishes and rejuvenates the damaged wood, while white vinegar can remove dirt
and grime from the floor.
Combine two parts of canola oil with one part of white vinegar in a bowl or spray bottle, shaking or mixing them very well together since they don’t naturally combine.
Once they’re thoroughly mixed, apply the concoction to the scratched wood surface and gently massage it in with a cloth.
Let it sit for a moment so
the mix can penetrate and nourish the damaged wood. Then, take another soft cloth and gently wipe away any excess polish or dirt.
