If you’re looking for an effective way to banish weeds from your yard, a common cleaning product can help: Pine-Sol. Many gardeners vouch for its ability to tackle weeds.
To make this DIY weed killer, combine 1 tablespoon of Pine-Sol, 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap, 1 cup of table salt, and 1 gallon of white vinegar in a
spray bottle.
Alternatively, you can mix equal parts dish detergent and Pine-Sol, diluting it with water. Apply the solution directly to the weeds in your lawn, being careful to avoid the grass.
