Use This Household Staple To Revive Your Sweat-Stained Hats
By RHIANNON FAITH IRELAND
If you want to revive your sweat-stained hats and make them look as good as new, you'll find a surprisingly useful solution in a common household essential: hydrogen peroxide.
For this hack, simply apply a small amount of 3% hydrogen peroxide directly onto the stains. To make the application more convenient, consider using a spray bottle or a dropper.
Leaving the hydrogen peroxide on the hat for a few hours is recommended for the best results, but if you're short on time, a half-hour application can still be quite effective.
For older hats or those made from delicate fabrics, a gentler method is required. Mix equal parts hydrogen peroxide and water and gently dab this solution onto the stained areas.
Remember to conduct a spot test on an inconspicuous area when using hydrogen peroxide on hats with bright or dark colors. Also, wear protective gear during the treatment.
