Use This IKEA Spice Rack Hack To Easily Organize Your Child's Room

According to TikTok user @kate.athome, you can convert an IKEA BEKVÄM spice rack into a regular bedroom wall shelf, or even flip it upside down for more creative use.
If you install the rack upside down, the rod that once served as the wall of the shelf will now act as a hanging rack, and the top can continue to serve as a shelf.
However, to do so, you’ll first have to unscrew the hanging devices on the back of the shelf and reinstall them upside down. Hang the rack low so your child can easily access it.
If you’re using hanging rods on the upside-down shelf, test them out first to check how much weight they can bear. Priced at $7, this IKEA spice rack is quite affordable.
Customize the rack by painting it white or with other, more playful colors. You can also place a handpainted design on it or cover it with a peel-and-stick wallpaper.
