Use Vinegar To Keep Black Widow Spiders Out Of Your Home
By ROBYN HUNT
Like their arachnid cousins, black widows are extremely sensitive to smells, which is why plain white vinegar — and its tangy smell — can help keep your house spider-free.
To create a natural spider repellent, you'll need white vinegar, water, a spray bottle, and a cloth. Start by mixing equal parts of white vinegar and water in your spray bottle.
Next, pinpoint all the areas where you've spotted the spiders, their webs, or egg sacs, and spray the vinegar solution directly on these spots. Wipe it down with a cloth afterward.
It’s also recommended that you do a test patch before going to town with your vinegar spray because the acidic solution can eat away at certain surfaces.
