What Martha Stewart Is Doing After Ditching Her Old Way
Of Gardening
By CHRISTY RAE AMMONS
Martha Stewart has embraced a new approach to gardening, switching from traditional in-ground planting to using raised garden beds, a method she now describes as a game-changer.
At a 2024 Miracle-Gro event, she highlighted numerous advantages of this approach, including increased produce yield, faster vegetable growth, and a more organized garden space.
"We had artichokes in a month and a half. We had 10-pound cabbages within two months. I couldn't believe what was happening in this garden," said an impressed Stewart.
She was so taken with how easy it was to set up and work with raised beds that she gushed, "I vowed I would never ever, ever plant any way else than in raised beds for vegetables."
