If you’re not keen on pesticides, you may be looking for a natural way to repel pesky wasps. Some claim that burning coffee grounds outside will deter these stinging insects.
Several pest experts suggest the smell of burning coffee is a natural deterrent to wasps. Additionally, the compounds found within coffee might act as a natural insecticide.
To use this hack, place dry coffee grounds in a fire-resistant container, and put it on your patio table or wherever you experience the most wasps. Then, light the grounds on fire.
Keep in mind the science behind this trick is still very limited, and success stories are mostly based on personal reports. It’s also not a permanent solution to your wasp problem.
