Bathrooms tend to be the smelliest place in the house, even with air fresheners like Poopourri. Sometimes, all you need is a common spice like cinnamon to combat the smell.
Cinnamon works fantastically as a bathroom odor buster because it is cheap, accessible, and a non-chemical combatant. Your powder room will be fresh-smelling without any worries.
According to Medical Design and Development, cinnamon has odor-eating capabilities by binding “organic volatile components” and removing them from the air.
All you have to do is add a few tablespoons to a bowl or breathable container. The key is that it needs to be open to the air so you can get a whiff of the fragrance.
