Why You Should Be Using A Butter Knife To Clean Your Dirty Toilet
By JACQUELINE DELIBES
Toilets often have little crannies that a sponge alone can’t reach. However, a butter knife wrapped in a paper towel is the perfect tool to clean out the gunk from those crevices.
Begin by saturating the area you’d like to clean with your preferred toilet cleaner. Next, wrap a butter knife in a paper towel and start swiping.
Clean the little indentation between the back of the toilet and the tank; around the edges of the seat’s hinges; and any crevices that appear when the lid is in the up position.
You can also pre-moisten your wrapped butter knife with a toilet cleaner before reaching out to clean the tight space between the back of the tank and the wall.
