According to Forbes, Lowe's has started the exclusive brand Origin21 to bring consumers a variety of home decor. Beginning in February of 2022, the new program debuted in over 2,000 stores as well as began releasing products online that consumers can find on its homepage or by conducting product-specific searches. This line is said to be Lowe's first exclusive modern home decor brand since the company debuted in 1921 — which they pay homage to in the title.
Aimed toward customers who want to buy decor at a low value, this program is the second brand under Lowe's Home of Style campaign after their allen + roth brand. While offering many general items, including sinks and outdoor furniture, this modern brand also sells a wide selection of decor items as well such as area rugs and throw pillows, via Lowes. With so much variety available, here are five of our favorite home decor items from Lowe's new and exclusive brand.
Plush geometric area rug
One of the first pieces that stuck out to us is this Plush Geometric Area Rug. Available exclusively for $209, this piece is available in either an 8-foot by 10-foot or a 5-foot by 7-foot size. The eye-catching geometrical designs allow for this rug to be used as a focal point in any room. However, Nazmiyal Antique Rugs suggests placing these pieces in large-sized rooms such as a living room, dining room, or bedroom. Depending on the area, certain measurements and guidelines must be followed to ensure it adds to the flow of the room.
