The Highest-Rated Budget Robot Vacuums Based On Reviews

If you're going to purchase a robot vacuum, you want one that will actually do its job; otherwise it doesn't matter how little it costs, you'll end up with money wasted. Luckily, there are quite a few brands on the market that offer great products at affordable prices. They may still cost at least $90 on the budget end, but that price for a vacuum (especially one that will clean your home without you lifting a finger) is actually quite a steal. It may seem like a high upfront cost, but if you paid one dollar for someone to vacuum your home every day, most of these vacuums would recoup that value in just a few months. How many times you should vacuum in a week is often not how many times you actually do, so investing in a robo-helper can be a game changer to keeping your floors clean. In order to help narrow down your search, here are four of the highest-rated, well-priced robot vacuums on the market.

Although each of these vacuums are great in their own right, determining which features are most important to you (like what robot vacuum is best for your floor type) is the first step in identifying what vacuum is right for you. From floor mapping to floor mopping, these robo-vacs will help keep your home clean without you needing to lug out your hoover. They cost less than hiring a cleaning service and prevent you from making the mistakes everyone makes while vacuuming

Eufy offers a midrange price with solid approval ratings

When it comes to affordable and reliable robo-vacs, eufy takes the cake. If you're looking for a basic model that will clean effectively and thoroughly without all the bells and whistles, the Eufy 11s Max is a promising choice. It's currently listed for $280 (though it seems to regularly go on sale for 50% off) and has maintained a 4.2/5 star rating with over 67,000 reviews. This vacuum is capable of tackling messes on everything from hard flooring to high-pile carpets, and its slim design allows it to fit comfortably under most furniture (one customer noted that it was able to fit in areas their previous Roomba could not). It's self-charging and has multiple cleaning modes, like auto clean, spot clean, and edge clean. It can run for up to 100 minutes on a single charge and is only as loud as a microwave when in use.

Though this vacuum is remote controlled, it doesn't have Wi-Fi connection, so you won't be able to control it through smart devices or your phone which may be a deal breaker for some. That said, your money is going toward the cleaning quality rather than high tech. If you want to keep the price low, it's a worthwhile tradeoff. Where it doesn't lack is with the sensors. It has drop- and collision-resistant sensors which help to protect both the vacuum and your furniture. It even has an automatic return so it will dock and charge itself before the battery runs out.

Lefant is a budget-friendly option with high ratings

Looking to spend around $200? This budget-friendly-buy has maintained a 4.3 out of 5 stars on Amazon with over 8,700 customer ratings. The Lefant M210 Pro Robot Vacuum has all the makings of a high-end vacuum, with Wi-Fi connectivity, self charging, and scheduling. It's particularly great for homes with pets. Not only is the suction powerful enough to tackle pet hair, it's also designed without a spin brush, which prevents tangles. The vacuum has three different suction levels, with the ability to pick up particles as small as dust to something as large as coffee beans.

The vacuum has 13 infrared sensors which help it navigate around the space without falling or bumping. Since it's less than 3 inches high, it also fits comfortably under most furniture. Because of the Wi-Fi connection, you can control it via remote, phone app, or even voice control when linked to smart devices. Many customers left rave reviews like this one which stated, "This machine works great. It's convenient to use and maintain. It's powerful enough to clean carpet and hard floors well. I love that it stops when it's finished with a room and the battery lasts long enough to do my entire 1,400 [square foot] house. I will recommend this vacuum to anyone who wants convenient cleaning with almost no effort." On the other hand, another customer claimed that when it stopped working properly they were given the runaround by Amazon, the seller, and the insurance company, leaving them stuck with a broken product.

The classic that covers messes, wet and dry

You can't talk about robot vacuums without mentioning Roomba. Though some models of the Roomba are on the pricier side, the iRobot Roomba Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo is surprisingly affordable, coming in at just $275 (this one is also regularly on sale, currently selling for 46% off). It comes armed with a whole slew of cleaning tools to help you keep your floors bright and clean. It has the typical suction and brush combo present in most vacuums, but it also has a mopping attachment that can help clean up messes that require more than just a vacuum.

The vacuum has a microfiber mop pad that's kept moist when in use which can be reused up to 30 times between washes, so cleaning up after your cleaning tools is low maintenance. There are three water levels to choose from depending on how wet you want to get your floors. While it's an even 4/5 star rating isn't the highest on the list, it does have a sizable 32,000 reviews.

Though it has mapping and sensors, there's still a chance it can get trapped. One customer, however, counted this as a boon rather than an inconvenience. "Because we have it, we're mindful of cords, cat toys, and other items on the floor that could tangle it up," they said. "So its presence also kind of enforces a level of tidiness." As long as your floors are kept relatively clear, however, it's not likely to get caught. It can even give you advice over time based on data it collects on how to keep your floors even cleaner.
