Repurpose Toilet Paper Rolls Into The Perfect Hair Accessory Organizer

There is nothing like discovering an inexpensive and useful bathroom hack that helps organize and store your items. That's why upcycling a toilet paper roll might just be one of the cleverest ways to keep your hair accessories tidy. While people have found a lot of creative ideas for these cardboard home staples, using one as a place to hold everything from bobby pins to scrunchies is definitely a slept-on hack. And with plenty of ways to elevate both the toilet paper roll and the items you store on and in it, you may end up saving all your cardboard cylinders to try this trick in every room. Grab a roll and simply slide hair bands around the exterior and push hair pins on either end.

This may not be the most stylish bathroom storage you add, especially if you choose to leave the toilet paper roll plain. It is, obviously, exactly that: a cardboard roll that held TP. Traditional toilet paper holders could do the trick, or why not glue string on one end of your TP roll, and then add a hook?

Hair accessories aren't the only things you can use with your upcycled toilet paper roll. Makeup brushes can go inside when the roll is placed upright. You may need to reinforce the cardboard by taking another toilet paper roll, cutting it open vertically, and wrapping it around the first one. Use tape or glue to secure the outer roll. Alternatively, you could stack bracelets and jewelry around the roll to keep them all in one place, and even pin earrings through the cardboard by poking small holes. Although small, it's ideal for corralling the pieces you use a lot. Plus, this hack offers storage in a sustainable and budget-friendly way, and you can get as creative as you want with what you use your TP rolls for!
