For major appliances, delivery and installation is included for most areas, as well as haul-away of your old appliance. Costco also offers a two-year warranty and is famous for its excellent return policy (here's what you need to know about the brand's return policy). With competitive pricing, too, we've rounded up some of Costco's best in-stock appliance offerings, as well as a couple of products we think you should skip.

To choose the appliances worth buying from Costco, we considered reviews and brand reputation. The products ahead have higher than a 4-star rating based on at least 500 reviews. There's more about our selection methodology at the end of this article. In the meantime, here's some of the top appliances to buy in Costco from a range of categories, plus a few you should avoid.

The Woozoo 5-Speed Globe Fan is one of Costco's Member Favorites — a collection of top-ranking products that shoppers love. It's easy to see why this fan is so well-received. It comes at a very reasonable price and looks more modern than a typical tabletop fan. It's feature-packed too, with a multi-oscillating head that can move up and down, side to side, or a combination of both for excellent air flow distribution. Offering 353 square feet of coverage and 5 speeds, it's a powerful little device. A remote is included to control it from across a room and it has a timer function too. 

Reviews for this fan are overwhelmingly positive. It has a 4.9-star rating overall, based on over 4,000 reviews. An impressive 93% of reviewers give it a full 5 stars. One raves, "Over the years, we've [used] several brands of fans, either as a cooling source or just to distribute cooled or heated air in a large room. Woozoo is far and away the best we've ever found: it's quiet, even at its highest setting, it's powerful despite the small size (which is also a plus), and it can move either side to side or up and down, and it can combine both movements (which is interesting to watch)." In short, it looks nice, works well, and is a reasonable price, which is really all you can ask for from a good desktop fan.

Whip up all manner of frozen sweet treats with the Ninja CREAMi Deluxe 11-in-1 Ice Cream and Frozen Treat Maker. This product is another Costco Member Favorite. It's hard not to like something that can churn out everything from creamy ice cream to frozen slushy drinks. This large deluxe model has 11 functions: ice cream, lite ice cream, sorbet, gelato, frozen yogurt, mix-in, creamiccino, frozen drink, slushi, milkshake, and Italian ice. It's hard to beat this product for those who really love frozen goodies, and if you love creating your own recipes and experimenting, it's even more worth the buy.

This product has 4.6 stars overall, based on 1,750 reviews. Over 84% of reviewers give it 5 stars. One says, "I absolutely love the Ninja Creami! It's incredibly convenient to create delicious and healthy treats. While a bit of planning is needed, the results are always amazing... Overall, [it] has added a whole new dimension to my culinary adventures, and I highly recommend it for those who want to creafcte healthy, homemade treats with ease." A lot of reviews echo that they love the results this countertop appliance provides. There are negative reviews that mention the machine is loud, and a handful receiving dud or easily-broken products. These latter issues are easily solvable with Costco's customer-focused return policy.

Buying a fridge is a big commitment. The LG 26 cu. ft. Bottom Mount Freezer Refrigerator is one of Costco's top offerings. There are some appliance brands sold at Costco you should avoid buying, but luckily LG isn't one of them. This bottom-freezer fridge has a roomy 26 cubic-foot capacity. It doesn't have any particularly fancy features, but it looks nice and works reliably. The Smart Cooling system keeps consistent conditions within the fridge, with focused cooling to ensure the contents in the door also stay at a safe temperature. Two crispers and a deli drawer help organize and preserve groceries.

On the Costco website, this fridge has 4.5 stars based on over 550 reviews, with 74% of those giving it 5 stars. One reviewer raves, "This thing is huge inside! And everything is easy to get to." It continues, "The LED lighting is great and shows everything inside so it's easy to pick out what you need. And the bottom freezer with its upper slide out basket over the lower huge basket makes things easy to get to." These are rather simple features, but they get the job done well, which is why it's a top-rated product.

LG was one of the laundry brands our expert named that's worth the hype. The LG 4.5 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Wi-Fi Enabled Front Load Washer is one of the top-rated washers sold at Costco. It has a 4.5-cubic-foot capacity, letting you clean loads for the whole family. The TurboWash setting cuts wash time to under 30 minutes, ideal for those days where time is of the essence. Those with allergies will appreciate the Allergiene Cycle, which is AAFA (Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America) certified and uses steam for an extra deep clean. Users can take advantage of the AI technology, which selects optimal wash settings. It's also possible to control the washer from a smartphone using the ThinQ app.

Reviewers give this washer 4.5 stars overall, based on nearly 800 reviews. About 75% give it a full 5 stars, many praising its excellent performance. One reviewer says "I love this machine. It gets clothes very clean [and] I also like that it has an extra hot setting." They continued, "I'm surprised by how much I like having the WiFi notifications when the wash is complete. Washes are very customizable and it's easy to access the filter for the suggested monthly maintenance." This washer offers great performance and a few useful smart features that are actually convenient, rather than just overly-complicated.

The Bosch 800 dishwasher series are some of Costco's highest-rated dishwashers, also recommended by our expert. The Bosch 800 Series Top Control Towel Bar Handle Dishwasher is a top-performer sold by Costco. Like many other top-rated appliances, this dishwasher is a reliable workhorse that gets the job done. It has a full stainless steel tub, the usual two racks, and then a third rack for larger cutlery. It runs quietly, at about 42 decibels, and is Energy Star certified, so it's not too disruptive to your kitchen or the water bill. Dishes come out clean and dry with features that target the dirtiest dishes and enhanced drying. 

Reviewers rate this dishwasher 4.5 stars out of 5, across over 580 reviews. Around 76% of those reviewers give this appliance a full 5 stars. One reviewer explains, "We purchased the Bosch 800 dishwasher in February of 2025 to replace an 11 year-old Bosch and are very pleased so far. Performance is great! Dishes, glasses, utensils, and pans always come out clean and dry and the dishwasher runs so quiet. The adjustability of the center rack height is a good feature and being able to flatten the rack tines on the lower rack for pots is a plus." A fair number of negative reviews mention a poor delivery experience, though this seems to depend on the area. That being said, many of the reviewers still liked the dishwasher model once installation hiccups were ironed out.

The GE 21.3 cu. ft. Garage Ready Upright Freezer with Glass Shelves is one of the most-reviewed and highly-rated large appliances in-stock at Costco. This freezer is a top performer, with a convenient upright design, so you don't need to go digging through to the bottom like in your parents' old chest freezer. This model is ready to install directly in a garage, tested to work from 0 degrees Fahrenheit to 110 degrees Fahrenheit. LED interior lighting makes it possible to see what's inside, and even in unfinished garages. In case the temperature rises, this freezer also has an audible temperature alarm. It's an eco-friendly model and is Energy Star qualified. The seal and insulation is stellar, to the point that if there's a power outage, food remains frozen for up to 48 hours.

This freezer is rated 4.6 stars based on 2,320 reviews. It has a high percentage of 5-star reviews, with 79% giving it a top score. One reviewer says, "Yes, it's expensive, but it is huge and provides a lot of storage and performs well. I love how the shelves are customizable. I don't have issues with frost. The temperature is clearly displayed on the outside of the door. Overall I am very happy with my purchase." Some negative reviews say that it's hard to open, but in a way, it's actually a positive trait: It's due to the strong suction seal, which keeps the cold in.

The Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Smart Air Fryer Oven is well-reviewed and hails from one of the most reputable air fryer brands. This little powerhouse offers 10 functions in one: It can air fry, air roast, whole roast, bake, broil, toast, toast bagels, dehydrate, reheat, and reheat pizza. This appliance has an impressively fast 90-second preheat time. The smart cook system takes out some of the guesswork of cooking with the Foodi Smart Thermometer. This one has two racks to cook family size meals and enough interior space to cook a 12-pound turkey.

Based on over 1,130 reviews, this small appliance has 4.5 stars overall. It has a high 74% 5-star rating, with many appreciating its range of functions. One reviewer notes, "This thing really does it all: consistent cooking, massive interior space, 4 adjustable rack positions, air fry functionality...and doesn't heat up the space in the back or sides while cooking." Negative reviews say it's on the louder side, but for many, that's a worthwhile tradeoff for all its cooking functions.

The Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal + Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is one of the top-rated cordless vacuum cleaners you can find at Costco. It's a powerful cleaning appliance that's designed for homes with pets. It has detangling features that remove hair and fur from areas of the home, without clogging the machine. This lightweight cordless model is engineered to clean the whole home, with a maximum of 60 minutes of run time and three power modes to handle carpets, rugs, and hard floors. At the moment, Costco is offering $100 off through July 20, 2025 — it's not common to find new Dyson models at a discount, so it's worth browsing Costco for these occasional coupons.

Reviewers have rated this vacuum 4.6 stars based on over 9,000 reviews. That's a high number of reviews, made even more impressive when you realize over 78% rate it 5 stars. One reviewer praises their experience, saying, "It's very powerful; I was surprised at the amount of dust and dog hair it got up off my supposedly already clean floor. Great attachments which make dusting and getting into small spaces so easy... Over the course of my life, this is the best vacuum I've ever owned." Many reviewers praise its performance, however, quite a few negative reviews complain of the short battery life. This is a valid complaint and is the trade-off for its suction power. With the powered cleaner head and in suction mode 1, reviews report the battery lasts up to 35 minutes, and even less if you're using it on max power.

Winix is a fairly well-known air purifier brand and Costco sells the Winix C909 4-Stage Air Purifier with Wi-Fi & PlasmaWave Technology at a very competitive price, cheaper than some other retailers. This purifier is AHAM (Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers) verified to provide coverage in rooms up to 500 square feet. It's also Energy Star certified and quiet on the slowest speed, so it's pleasant to use. With a mesh pre filter, activated carbon filter, and true HEPA filter, users can be assured that this purifier actually cleans the air. Apart from working well, it has an air quality indicator for indoor monitoring and is WiFi-enabled, so you can control it from a smartphone. Costco also sells affordable filter refills for this model.

Reviews rate this an average 4.5 stars overall, based on over 620 reviews. Over 74% give it a 5-star rating, with one noting, "I was told by a friend about the WINIX C909 at Costco, and when I visited them the house air was fresh and clean smelling... We bought our first one and in the following week the dust in our house was reduced to almost none. We did buy a second C909 for the [master bedroom] and at night you can't even hear it running." Some unhappy reviewers disagree and find it a bit too loud; it's possible to test it at home for yourself with Costco's lenient return policy.

The Tiger 5.5-Cup Micom Rice Cooker and Warmer reliably makes fluffy, fragrant rice, at the touch of a button. It's much easier to use than a stovetop and prepares up to 5.5 cups of uncooked rice at once, ideal for feeding a family or larger group. With 10 cooking menu settings, you can also cook more than rice, taking advantage of this countertop appliance to steam or slow cook a range of other recipes. Once cooked, the Keep Warm setting can keep contents toasty for up to 12 hours without it drying out or burning. This product is very highly-rated on the Costco website.

Shoppers seem happy with their purchase, with this product receiving a 4.6-star rating based on over 4,850 reviews. About 75% give it 5 stars, which is a pretty stellar track record. One commenter was concerned whether this "entry level model" was going to be supportive to a family of four. It was: "We couldn't be happier — it can cook enough for 8 good size portions, and the taste is so much better than using the stovetop. It also freed up cooking space on the stovetop and the built-in timer allows us to set the exact time we want it to be ready." For those who eat rice quite frequently, this is a worthwhile buy.

Samsung fridges have a bad reputation, with many complaints and a low Consumer Reports rating, particularly for many of the French-door models. In an exclusive interview with home experts, it was one of the brands they recommended avoiding. The Samsung 28 cu. ft. 4-Door French Door Refrigerator with FlexZone Drawer looks nice, but seems to have a rather high possibility of failure for such a pricey appliance.

It has 4.3 stars out of 1,717 reviews, with 67% giving it 5 stars, but also almost 10% giving it a very low 1 or 2 star rating. Those who rated it poorly had major appliance failures, with one reviewer warning, "Buyer beware... Our brand new fridge was delivered exactly 6 weeks ago and it has completely stopped working. Freezer, Flex-drawer, and fridge are all registering at least 20 degrees warmer than [the] temperature they are set at... Lost approximately $250 worth of groceries in the process. Nice looking appliance with fantastic space, but none of that matters when it doesn't stay cool." With so many other options, you're better off choosing a different refrigerator with better reviews for reliability.

The Whirlpool 4.6 cu. ft. Top Load Impeller Washer with Built-in Faucet has a low rating overall (3.7 stars out of nearly 2,000 ratings) and a high percentage of negative reviews on the Costco website. Less than half of reviewers give it 5 stars, and over 16% give it just 1 star. Whirlpool is one of our washing machine brands to steer clear of, due to durability and performance problems.

One reviewer says of their experience, "The day the washer was delivered the delivery man had to take it back and bring a new one because it was not working. Tomorrow a repair man will be coming to check it out since it's not working properly. This will be the 3rd time a repair man has to come out... This machine is really loud and the worst appliance I have ever owned." Costco sells several other washing machines, so we'd choose one of those over this poorly-rated one.
