If you already have picture frame molding on your wall, all you need to buy is some peel-and-stick wallpaper, which can be found on Amazon for under $7 per roll. Even if you're starting your accent wall from scratch, this is still a budget-friendly DIY, since picture frame wainscoting isn't too pricey either. Of course, the amount you spend will depend on the size of the moldings you choose, as well as the style and brand of your wallpaper.

The first step of this project is to measure your wall, and then determine the size and preferred arrangement of your picture frame molding. For example, you may want a wall full of tall rectangular frames that stretch from floor to ceiling.
