Costco's Popular Oversized Chair Is Going Viral But Is It Really Worth The Hype?

If you want large and discounted furniture, Costco is a great place to start. But just because you can get something for a cheaper price doesn't mean you should. Now this isn't the only viral chair to come from Costco, but it is one of the newest. Because while it has maintained a 4.7-star average rating on Costco's website, that doesn't mean it's beyond improvement. For instance, it's great for lounging. On the downside, it can be a pain to keep clean.

Sticking to the facts, this is a large chair, measuring 64 inches across — about the size of a full-sized loveseat. It has a plush, furry, ribbed fabric that also comes with the addition of a large storage ottoman. It is currently listed at $700, which is a bit high but not excessive. 

If you want big, comfy, and fluffy, this lounge chair pretty much fits the bill. Super soft polyester fabric in a corduroy weave gives it a fur-like feeling that is extra snuggly on chilly nights. It is also extra wide, meaning you won't feel cramped if you share it — or you can hog it for yourself if you want to spread out. The ottoman has a hinged top that will stay open on its own, allowing you to effortlessly access the storage inside. Plus, the set comes with two throw pillows that provide additional support should you need it. 

Besides the ratings being high, many customers left glowing reviews. One reviewer wrote, "After using it for a week, I can confidently say: BUY THIS CHAIR!
