The Clever Way To Reuse Spice Jars In Your Bathroom Instead Of Throwing Them Out

If you're someone who tries to reuse items in your home, then you may want to take a look in your kitchen cabinets. You likely have at least a few empty spice jars to repurpose. So what are you going to do with those jars? Why not save some money on storage solutions and reuse them in the bathroom?

Once your spice jars are empty, turn them into cute DIY bathroom storage. Depending on the size of the jar, you might be able to use them for a variety of items, including cotton balls. First though, you will want to clean the jars up and remove any sticky residue from the glass. For some jars, having the lids allows you to store powders such as dry shampoo or baby powder without worrying about moisture getting into the bottle and causing clumps. There are so many ways you can use empty spice jars in your bathroom once they are clean and label-free. It's all about figuring out the best way to use them for you.

Use spice jars for a variety of storage in the bathroom

Depending on the size of your spice jar, you could use it as a toothbrush holder. One or two toothbrushes will easily fit into these glass jars. Speaking of dental products, these small containers are great for toothpicks, floss picks, and other small dental products, especially if they come in small bags that don't reseal.

Some of the more obvious items that people suggest storing in these jars are cotton swabs, cotton balls, small makeup sponges, and cotton rounds. You can even turn your glass jars into wet wipe holders. The pop up lids with an opening that allow you to pull these wipes through, can make these jars into a great addition to a half bathroom or when guests visit. Think about using them for beauty products that you don't want loose in your drawers and cabinets as well. You might use them for tweezers and nail clippers, or it could be a nice way to keep your makeup brushes together without spending a lot of money.

If you are going to put things that are not obvious in these jars, you'll want to label them so you know what's in each one, especially when putting different liquids into them. These jars are great for having small amounts of acetone, makeup cleanser, jewelry cleaner, and even powders on hand in smaller spaces. While you might have a full bottle of these liquids in your home, it isn't always practical to reach for that bottle all the time, so having it in smaller jars in the bathroom can make using them easier.
