The Beautiful Dollar Tree Decor Hack That'll Light Up Any Room In Your Home

This project couldn't be easier, as you are essentially placing puck lights into glass vases after decorating the containers. As these are such common supplies, you might even have them lying around your home already. You can also thrift three vases of different sizes — straight-sided cylinders work best, but other shapes can also work. Of course, with something so straightforward, there is always room to customize and make this lighting project your own. So if you're ready for a DIY that turns a Dollar Tree find into sparkling table decor with lights, then it's time to get crafting.

To make this lighting decor piece, start by giving your vases a good clean with soap and water. This helps the frosted glass spray adhere well. Then, spray your vases with some Rust-Oleum Specialty Frosted Glass Spray or a similar product. For added visual interest, you can use tape or stickers to create hearts or other shapes on your vases before spraying them. After they're sprayed, simply remove the tape or stickers, and you'll have clear shapes that contrast beautifully against the frosted glass. Alternatively, you can add a few strips of Psyqtsuary Gold Mirror Tape to the bottom of each vase after spraying it with the glass spray to give it a glam look. For a more rustic look, tie ribbon, twine, burlap or strips of fabric around the vases.
