DIY A Tiered Storage Shelf For Countertop Clutter Using Towel Holders

Start by picking up two Cooking Concepts Paper Towel Holders from Dollar Tree, which are $1.25 each. Then, head to the container section where you're going to select two wire baskets. They sell different shapes, like the Essentials Rectangle Wire Baskets and the Essentials Oval Wire Baskets, priced at $1.50 each. The last tool you're going to need is some basic cable or zip ties. You might be able to find them at your local Dollar Tree, but if not, you can purchase them from home improvement stores. For an added decorating bonus, grab some spray paint as well.

Start by spray painting your two paper towel holders so that they match your baskets. Or, give everything a fresh coat of paint in your favorite color, though the spray paint will likely be faster. Once everything dries, take one of the baskets and secure it to the bottom of one of the towel holders using two cable ties. Then, repeat this step on the other side, so that the basket is sitting snuggly between the two holders. Next, take the second basket and attach it to the top of the holders, using the same method. It too should be sandwiched between them.
