House Digest's Best Of IFA 2025
House Digest is on site for IFA 2025 in Berlin, capturing the latest and greatest in consumer electronics for your home and garden. With over 1,000 exhibitors showcasing new and groundbreaking products, many brands caught our eye. However, there were only a handful that particularly stood out for their innovation, quality, and ability to instantly improve one's daily routine at home.
From Aiper's cutting-edge lawn sprinkler to Siemens's first-of-its-kind steaming drawer, House Digest's Best of IFA award recipients for 2025 represent a new frontier in consumer electronics. With AI-powered technology dominating the floor at IFA and slowly but surely trickling into people's homes, it's only fitting that the lion's share of our best of show picks tout some degree of AI integration. However, we also witnessed quite a few homages to pretechnological life that were given high-tech makeovers, as well as ingenious innovations that shine in a homeowner's time of need. Without further to do, here are our favorite products at IFA 2025.
BLUETTI FridgePower Backup System
Even with today's technology, power outages have yet to become a thing of the past. However, worrying about your perishables when the electricity goes out will be. The BLUETTI FridgePower Backup System provides battery power for the refrigerator in case of power loss, offering peace of mind in a compact and unobtrusive package that runs far quieter than the old gasoline-powered generator you bust out for emergencies.
"Think of it as the middle man between the fridge and the wall outlet," Illia Zahnitko, Corporate Planning Manager at BLUETTI, exclusively told House Digest. "Following a power outage, it can power the appliance for two to three days. It's also built with a low idle consumption, which is 80% lower than competitors."
Those extra days of power can be critical not only for keeping your food fresh, but for keeping medicine usable during an emergency. The FridgePower Backup System is a new product from BLUETTI and was unveiled at IFA; expect to see it hit the U.S. market in November 2025.
Siemens Steam Drawer
Siemens' trademark is combining intelligent technology with remarkable design, and that is evident in their sleek new steam drawer, which aims to allow users to prepare meals with better nutrition in mind without having to add another pan to a cluttered stovetop. "It's a small product that can be combined with a 45 cm oven, creating a compact design that takes up a total of 60 cm of space," a Siemens rep advised House Digest. While it can be combined with your oven, you may also use it as a standalone unit while still benefiting from its variety of automatic steam settings.
Unlike your IKEA steamer basket, you can operate this product from the Siemens Home Appliance App. What's more convenient than relaxing in bed while your dinner automatically cooks, or preparing lunch while tending to flowers in the garden? To sweeten the deal, it's not just a steamer. You can use this appliance to sanitize bottles, proof dough, heat leftovers, defrost frozen goods, or preserve jarred items. With Siemens' House Digest Best of IFA Award-winning Steam Drawer, the brand may be pushing microwaves into retirement.
Aiper IrriSense
The Aiper IrriSense is a sprinkler system that makes better use of your time, energy, and water supply with cutting-edge AI integrations. However, the way it does this almost defies expectation. "It simplifies lawn care by utilizing AI technology, which is capable of mapping out your lawn by inputting your address with satellite imagery, teaching it to avoid obstacles, such as sidewalks, sheds, and more," said Aiper Regional Sales Manager Ryan Barnett. "It also saves consumers up to 40% in water usage when compared to a traditional sprinkler system, and setup is a breeze and takes about 15 minutes."
The Aiper IrriSense can water an area up to 4,300 square feet with a maximum spray distance of 39 feet. It also features an app where you can create a custom irrigation schedule — but don't worry, it'll automatically change its plans when rainfall is detected and can even notify you when rain is in the forecast. Talk about a smart sprinkler!
iGarden Lawn Mower L Series/L AWD Series
The iGarden Lawn Mower L Series and L AWD Series cuts your lawn for you in style — from a standard trim to engraved logos. There are seven products in the lineup (including four AWD options), so you can choose the mower that best fits your needs, starting with the L30 that has a 3-hour run time and covers over 10,000 square feet, and ending with the most advanced L AWD 75, which has close to an 8-hour run time, covering over 73,000 sq ft. The L series also touts AI technology, avoiding anything you don't want cut and taking the best route to optimize the process.
"It has vision through the RGB camera and radar, which helps it map out your yard more precisely. With the camera, it's also able to recognize children and pets without programming," Leon Zheng, Product Marketing Manager at iGarden, told House Digest. He isn't kidding; cats and dogs aside, this mower recognizes 35 small animals and over 100 common lawn obstacles, cementing this line's status as some of the safest robot lawn mower tech on the market, and a House Digest Best of IFA Award winner.
Monar Canvas Speaker
The Monar Canvas Speaker is at the crossroads of art, music, and technology, offering high-fidelity acoustics and triple-frequency sound experience. The 32-inch digital canvas also generates countless designs, inspired by songs, text prompts, and photos. "It creates an immersive audiovisual experience," founder and CEO Ben Yu exclusively told House Digest. "It's the first product where the visual reacts to the audio, which people will enjoy because it creates a sense of relaxation and connects the person to the music and space."
The Canvas Speaker can be mounted on the wall, propped on a table, or laid on an easel, and has four replaceable frames for a curated look. Apart from standard visuals, it can even display animated lyrics for impromptu karaoke sessions. Everything is operated through the Monar app for easy control over the audio and visuals. The Monar Canvas Speaker is set to launch its Kickstarter campaign early in 2026, with the final product to hit the market later in the year.
