Bathrooms are busy spots, and this often shows in the number of products and tools left out on the counter. Finding time to organize isn't as easy as it seems, and some of the products marketed toward this objective are expensive, especially if you want them to match your decor. If you're looking for a smart way to clear clutter from bathroom counters while keeping products nearby, look no further than your local Dollar Tree. With a little DIY creativity, you can cut costs and get a stylish storage solution that fits your motif. All you need are cake pans, a candlestick, and strong adhesive.
The objective is to create a tiered spot to stack toiletries, hand towels, and more. Cake pans are a great foundation for this project because they're cheap and easy to customize with paint and other decorations. Add a base by attaching a planter stand to the bottom, or set the lower pan directly on the counter. The pillar in the center adds dimension and a second level for extra storage. This project helps take back bathroom counter space while adding style at the same time. You might even want to make two.
Putting your DIY bathroom organizer together
To start this project, you'll need some materials, including two Cooking Concepts Cake Pans from Dollar Tree and something to separate the tiers, such as a Black Metal Pedestal Candle Holder. You'll also need something to adhere the two together. A strong craft adhesive, such as E6000 Premium Clear Adhesive, works well for this project. If you're not fond of the metallic finish on the pans, grab some spray paint. Look at the style and colors in your bathroom to select a shade that suits your tastes. Once your supplies are ready, you can begin assembling the organizer.
If you're opting to change the color, paint the pans first and let them dry completely. Then, glue the candlestick to the inside center of a pan. Stack and glue the other pan on top of the candlestick, and you're finished with construction.

This is such a simple DIY to help tidy up bathroom clutter — it's great for novice crafters and very customizable. Apart from paint choices, you can change the look by adding trim, accent gemstones, using stencils, or experimenting with different pedestals. Take it from two tiers to three by adding another center pillar and cake pan, or opt for a new shape by choosing a brownie or bread pan instead. Whatever combination you choose, you'll end up with a stylish, budget-friendly way to keep bathroom counters tidy.
