Create the perfect child-sized book rack
To make this cute and cozy storage solution, grab the IKEA MOPPE storage cabinet, some wooden furniture legs (like this Txcucc set on Amazon), some painter's tape, brushes, and paint. Remove all six of the cabinet's inner drawers, as you won't be using them for this DIY. Rather than tossing them, however, consider utilizing the bins for a simple toy storage idea that will help keep your playroom tidy, like placing them on a desk to hold crayons or markers. Next, flip the organizer over so you can see the backside, then measure and mark the placement of the furniture legs. Drill and screw in the furniture legs per their provided instructions. Once done, the organizer will resemble a small piece of furniture.
For added flair, you can paint the wooden organizer. TikTok creator @veer.enmeer used painter's tape to create crisp, straight lines. They then used brown and sage-green paint to create cozy stripes. However, you could paint the ensemble all one color or opt for different patterns.
