While heavy feedings seems like a good thing, showering your plants with nutrients is actually a bad idea and can cause harm to your lilies. Peace lilies don't need a lot of fertilizer. Overfeeding it burn the roots and cause the leaf tips to get fertilizer burn and turn brown. Further, peace lilies can get salt build up from using fertilizer so it's important to flush the soil every three to six months, which will get rid of that buildup. During the late fall and winter, hold back on feeding since your peace lily is dormant.
